Flying in the Greek Islands
Membership of the aeroclub is open to anyone with an interest in flying. There are regular information and safety meetings and Club members often fly together. Temporary membership is available to visitors.
There are many benefits to learning to fly with the aeroclub. For example once you have become a member there are no landing or handling fees on any of the islands.
Greek hospitality is rightly famous. Rhodos aeroclub welcomes pilots as temporary members. We also welcome visitors who want to combine a holiday with getting a pilots licence.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year there is no better place to enjoy flying, or learn to fly than Greece.

Charts and published information for general aviation is difficult to obtain. VFR Trip Kits for the Greek islands can be purchased from Jeppeson. The aeroclub has VFR charts for some of the more local islands
